Haier smartphones to offer ICFLIX VOD

Dubai-based video streaming service ICFLIX is now available pre-installed on high-end smartphones from Pakistan’s Haier Mobile.



The service provides a mix of Bollywood, Arabic and Hollywood content, including the films Wolf of Wall Street, Hugo, The Tourist and The Book of Negroes, plus British period dramas Mr Selfridge and Peaky Blinders.

“We aim to provide quality content at an affordable price to customers across Pakistan. Ranging from award-winning Hollywood blockbusters and TV shows alongside Bollywood and kids’ content, there will be something for everyone to enjoy,” said Carlos Tibi, CEO and co-founder, ICFLIX.

All high-end Haier smartphones will include a month’s free subscription to the video-on-demand (VOD) service for customers signing up for a premium account.
