Taiwan’s Chunghwa Telecom and Dialog TV in Sri Lanka have added Trace Urban music and sports TV content to their pay-TV platforms.
Viewers in Taiwan can now see both TRACE Urban and TRACE Sport Stars via ChunghwaTelecom’s MOD IPTV system, which reaches 1.2 million subscribers. While in Sri Lanka, subscribers to direct-to-home (DTH) provider Dialog TV’s Pearl, Gold, and Diamond packages will also be able to enjoy Hip-hop, R&B, and pop hits on TRACE Urban.
“Our mission has always been to supply pay-TV operators with unique and entertaining content so they can significantly enhance the portfolio for their subscribers. These new carriage deals mark further expansion of TRACE’s audience in Asia and we have no doubts that our cutting-edge programming will open up many more opportunities,” said Laurent Dumeau, CEO, TRACE International.
James Ross, MD, TRACE Asia, added: “Asia is an exceptional market to compete in and we are extremely pleased to be able to work closely with Chunghwa Telecom and Dialog TV. We look forward to announcing a further raft of new deals in the near future.”
