filmin clasicaAvailable for Premium and Premium+ subscribers, Filmin Clįsica will deliver two blocks of HD programming - one focusing on great composers and another on operas - and one SD block with historical recordings.

Looking to differentiate its VOD offer, which already focuses on culture and independent films, Filmin will open an on-demand catalogue with symphonies by Beethoven and Mahler, compositions by Bach and Haydn as well as Ennio Morricone's cult soundtracks.

The historical recordings block will include Ramallah's Concert For Peace, directed by Barenboim and the Maria Callas recitals. The opera catalogue will kick off with 20 pieces, including Puccini's La Boheme and Beethoven's Fidelio.

Medici.tv produces and broadcasts over 100 live music concerts and 1,400 programmes each year in collaboration with some of the greatest orchestras and concert halls in the world. Content is streamed on a Web-based platform and through different mobile apps for tablets and smartphones.
