Hispasat is to live broadcast, through Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA), the debate between Spain's president and the opposition leader across Europe and Latin America, across TV networks, Internet media and radio stations.
The debate between Mariano Rajoy and Pedro Sánchez, which is to air on the public network RTVE for Spanish viewers, will be internationally delivered through Hispasat 1E, which covers both regions.
Earlier this week, Atresmedia's debate among four of the candidates reported international awareness, as the programme's online audience was based in the UK (4.7%), Germany (2.6%) and Latin America (1.9%), among other regions.
In Spain, the debate was followed by 9.2 million viewers, averaging a 48.2% share, and generated 2.5 million tweets in two hours.
