Boomerang flies The Avatars to South Africa

The Avatar —a Boomerang TV Group, Fly Distribuzione and Brave Films co-production — is set to premiere in South Africa.



Boomerang BrazilThe country's public broadcaster, SABC, has acquired rights to the international-targeted teen drama targeted, and it is scheduled to air Monday to Friday on commercial channel SABC3.

This sale comes in addition to other agreements closed by Boomerang TV group over the last few months, including one with German children’s channel KiKA- part of ZDF public broadcaster.

The series has also recently premiered in Poland (Teletoon+) and has aired in other territories including Italy (Disney Italia), Nigeria (Cool TV) and several Eastern European countries such as Hungary, Romania, Moldavia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia (on Chello's Megamax). Only weeks ago Brazil's Globo irevealed it was to premiere the series.
