Middle East pay-TV network OSN is set to show Oprah Winfrey’s new documentary series Belief on the Discovery Network channel TLC.

The series, narrated by Winfrey, looks at spiritual journeys through the eyes of the believers. It will air on the pay-TV network beginning 2 January 2016 at 21:00 KSA.

“TLC is all about celebrating difference and shining a light on the stories that often go untold. Belief will uncover some of the world’s most fascinating accounts of faith, and who better to deliver this than Oprah Winfrey,” said James Gibbons, EVP & country manager, Emerging Business, Discovery Networks CEEMEA.

Emad Marcos, senior vice president, Media Partners & Digital, OSN added: “We regularly showcase outstanding documentaries from around the world. The magnetic personality of Winfrey and the nature of the series will make it a must-watch for all. Through our partnership with Discovery Networks, we will continue to deliver compelling programmes that appeal to all members of the family.”

Belief comprises hour long shows which document the stories of people on spiritual journeys. They include a group of believers seeking redemption along the banks of a holy river; a free climber on the side of a mountain who believes there is no greater power than just being present as he climbs without rope; and a 21st century woman who seeks to find a miracle cure using ancient ceremonial treatments.
