Mediapro appoints new head of international sales

Spanish pay-TV operator Mediapro has appointed Laura Miñarro as new head of Imagina International Sales, its content distribution unit.
The executive, who has already been working eight years at Imagina International sales, will lead activities at the unit's offices across four continents which number more than 30.
Before working for Mediapro and Imagina, Laura Miñarro worked working as sales executives for Grupo Productores Independientes and BRB Internacional, always within production and distribution industries, and for Venezuela's communication agency ARS DDB.
Mediapro's content distribution unit owns a portfolio with more than 300 titles among series, films, programmes and documentaries, which are broadcast in 150 different countries. The thriller Vis a Vis, Alex de la Iglesia's film Messi or the docu-show Naranjito y Yo are among its latest premieres.
