Two days after Atresmedia premiered the first of the new DTT channels to air in Spain, Secuoya has started test broadcastings of its channel, 10.

The channel is airing a loop of a 30-second promotional video, announcing that the 10 channel will start broadcasting soon, offering series, films, reality shows and entertainment.

According to Bluper, the video aims to “transmit freshness, modernity and innovation - the same values the new channel will have”.

Shortly after the digital TV frequency was awarded to Secuoya, the group's president, Raúl Berdonés, stated that a provisional schedule would be launched in December with programming going live in March or April 2016.

Looking to compensate for last years' DTT blackout, the Ministry of Industry awarded six new channels in October, three HD and three SD. Mediaset, Real Madrid TV and Atresmedia won the HD licences and Secuoya, Kiss Media and 13TV received the standard definition ones.
