Despite not being released until June 2016, the Blu-ray of Star Wars Episode VII is already the second most sold movie or series on Amazon.es.



The Force Awakens' pre-sales have made it to the top in spite of the huge amount of e-sales Amazon has over the Christmas period. The last installment of the popular saga has been in the top 100 for two weeks and has almost reached the top of the list.

For several weeks, the complete Star Wars saga on Blu-ray was the most sold film or series on Amazon's Spanish site, although it is now at number three after being in the website's top 100 for 132 days.

In addition to these two films, Amazon's top five is completed by children’s titles. Disney's Inside Out tops the ranking after 92 days among the most sold titles, Nickelodeon's Paw Patrol is in fourth place and Descendants (again Disney, which also produces Star Wars Episode VII) is in fifth position.

Star Wars-related toys, video-games and clothes are also among Amazon's most sold products.
