Spain's Mediaset aired 72 out of 2015's 100 most watched TV adverts, thanks mainly to sports.



mediaset anunciosAccording to the group's yearly report, Mediaset also broadcast 67% of the most followed advertising campaigns, while its nearest competitor, Atresmedia, aired 26%.

Telecinco had most of the leading ads, airing the top ten most watched, all of which were shown during Eurobasket 2015 and the Motorcycling World Cup.

Among themed DTT networks, Factoría de Ficción (FDF), which airs Mediaset's series, and Divinity also ranked highly.

During 2015, Telecinco was Spain's most watched network, with an average of 14.8% audience share, its best figures in six years, ahead of Atresmedia's Antena 3, the second most watched with a 13.4% share. The Mediaset network also led commercial target (14.4%) and prime time audience (15.2%), ahead of Antena 3.

According to comScore figures, Telecinco.es has become Spain's largest TV-related website, with an average 9.8 million unique users per month and 950 million videos served between January to November 2015.

Mediaset claims second-screen leadership too, with over 11 million total downloads of its app portfolio. Mitele, which launched on Samsung smart TVs in December, was the most requested mobile platform with 4.5 million downloads.
