Russia’s first motor sports broadcaster, Red Media Auto Plus, has inked a major content deal with Prime Entertainment Group to take 176 episodes of car shows from the pay-TV company.

Red Media is one of the largest Russian holding companies producing and distributing theme-based channels for cable and satellite broadcasting, with an audience coverage exceeding 101 million viewers. Its Auto Plus channel will be the home for series including Full Speed (49x8’), VIP Tour (78x9’), Lights Flash (26x9’) and Biocar (23x9’), all recently produced in high definition.

“We are truly glad to have signed with Auto Plus channel. We already had some successful shows in the car field such as Graveyard Carz (32x52’), and we recently got these great new productions,” said Prime Entertainment Group managing director David Freydt. “We are very pleased to see that our clients are going for it. And it’s always a pleasure to deal with Red Media, we have had a great business relationship since 2007. They loved our Lifestyle and Celebrity shows, and it’s a satisfaction to be able to fulfil all their needs.”
