ThinkAnalytics boosts executive team

Search, recommendations and analytics engine developer ThinkAnalytics has beefed up its management team with the appointment of Stuart McGeechan as senior vice president of services and operations.



McGeechan was most recently vice president, custom engineering at Cisco International, and prior to that he was VP, global professional services & client engineering with responsibility for unifying Cisco’s various client engineering groups.

McGeechan spent 20 years at NDS and Cisco with other roles including building a professional services organisation, worldwide set-top box deployment, running systems integration programmes and managing NDS’s DirectTV Group business in the Americas.

In his new role, McGeechan will lead efforts to further strengthen the continued adoption and support of ThinkAnalytics technology worldwide. “As the ThinkAnalytics business has grown in leaps and bounds we were looking for an individual who would complement our existing pool of talent with an in-depth understanding of TV and video industry professional services and operations,” said Eddie Young, Chairman of ThinkAnalytics commenting on the appointment. “McGeechan has that rare combination of working across continents with nearly all the major players across the TV and video ecosystem. Stuart brings unrivalled experience in the TV industry to ThinkAnalytics and its customers worldwide.”
