Viva Bahrain adds Yupp TV to mobile service

Telecommunications operator Viva Bahrain has added 49 live Indian television channels to its multi-platform TV service in a tie-up with over-the-top (OTT) video provider Yupp TV.


The service, which provides live TV channels in five languages – namely Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali – is available for both Viva’s post-paid and pre-paid customers.

Yupp TV is available in Bahrain via smartphones, tablets, PCs, or TVs – with the addition of a Yupp TV media box, on sale for BHD30.

Viva is offering a free trial to customers who register for the Yupp TV OTT service before 31 January. After that, the Indian TV add-on will be available to the telco’s customers for an extra BH2 per month.
