T-Mobile nets fuboTV for BingeOn mobile video offer

It may be battling allegations of online video service throttling, but T-Mobile US has enhanced its BingeOn offer with fuboTV.



Launched in November 2015, BingeOn allows customers who subscribe to Crackle, DirecTV, Fox Sports, Fox Sports, GO HBO, Hulu, Netflix, SHOWTIME, Sling TV, STARZ, Univision Deportes, WatchESPN, Vevo, VUDU and others, to access those services on-the-go without touching their data caps.

In December 2015 online video juggernaut YouTube condemned T-Mobile for allegedly throttling its service on the telco’s network because it hadn't signed up to the zero-rating steaming offer.

However, subscribers of fuboTV can now watch all the live sports and entertainment they want on their smartphones without using their LTE data on T-Mobile. FuboTV is designed to provide US provides soccer fans with access to their teams’ matches live. This includes the ability to stream live matches from La Liga, MLS, Liga MX, Serie A, the English Football League Cup and Primeira Liga and other top leagues and tournaments from the desktop and through iOS, Android and other leading Internet-connected devices. In addition to the best football matches from around the world, fuboTV also provides access to other sports and entertainment content.
