Chris WhitePreviously responsible for designing, building and supporting the OTT infrastructure at Piksel for pay-TV providers including Sky, Channel 4, OSN and AT&T, White will have the principal task of strengthening his new company’s international service offering.

In his career, in which he has more than 15 years’ experience as a solutions architect, White has also consulted on digital architecture and development for BBC as well as a number of other professional services companies. Commenting on his new role, he said: “Having worked in the media industry for over ten years I'm well aware of the issues that content piracy can cause content owners and broadcasters. Friend MTS has best-in-class solutions and technology that solve this growing problem, and with the global increase in video consumption and the emergence of new standards such as 4K is an exciting time to be involved in anti-piracy solutions.”

Brown added: “It’s great to have someone with Chris’s extensive international experience on board. We’re expanding our international offering quite rapidly so his experience, especially in the Middle East will be really valuable going forward. Chris has built OTT platforms for some really big players so he’s already familiar with the challenges operators face when it comes to content security. This puts him in a good stead for helping our customers around the world to find the best way to protect their content and revenues.”
