NATPE: BBC goes Back in the Room with RCN Colombia

BBC Worldwide has sold You're Back in the Room to Colombia's RCN for its first Latin American adaptation.



Hypnosis: Un Juego de la Mente will be produced by Miracol Media and will have 15x60’ episodes, following a similar format to other local versions.

“With You're Back in the Room, a fresh format to entertain every audience slot has been created. The programme is very unpredictable and we're happy RCN has accepted it,” said Kate Phillips, formats' creative director, BBC Worldwide.

BBC Worldwide has great expectations for You're Back in the Room at NATPE. “This agreement for the Colombian market will show the format's huge potential and we hope we can bring it to every Latin American territory,” said Anna Gordon, executive VP, BBC Worldwide Latin America/US Hispanics.

The show will air an episode each weekend during prime time over 15 weeks.

In each show, five contestants that have been hypnotized will compete for the final jackpot through several games.

This is the second agreement for BBC Worldwide in Colombia in less than a month. Fox Telecombia has produced the local version of Dancing with the Stars, which has also premiered on RCN.
