Growing UK IPTV provider EE TV has signed up video-on-demand (VOD) services company to supply its Corazon telenovela channel and Baby Channel.
vonetizeVonetize operates VOD services including thematic channels with category-specific content featured worldwide. The company structures content packages with Hollywood studios such as Disney, Sony and Miramax, as well as local mobile operators, device manufacturers and international ISPs to showcase content on connected devices.
Corazon features hundreds of hours of telenovelas and Latin dramatic TV series from content producers in Spanish, as well as versions dubbed in English. The channel will serve as a cultural and entertainment addition not just for the UK’s 120,000 native Spanish-speakers, but also for non-Spanish speaking viewers. As its name suggests, The Baby Channel contains a rich variety of animated programs geared towards babies and toddlers, and features content from multiple brands in categories such as Basic Skills, Story Time, Creativity and Fun and Animals.
The company sees its new deal with EE TV as representing another step in its expansion of partnerships with major content and mobile carriers around the globe. “We are excited to enrich EE’s content offering for its subscribers with our targeted and carefully curated content,” said CEO Noam Josephides. “Vonetize is a technology company with a deep understanding of the entertainment tastes of different ethnic and cultural communities around the world. We are proud to offer Corazon’s sweeping selection of Latin telenovelas and The Baby Channel’s top-rated infant and toddler content to UK viewers.”
