Prime Entertainment hails major success at NATPE

Leading pay-TV content provider Prime Entertainment Group is claiming success at NAPTE after landing a number of deals with key players in the audiovisual arena.
RTVN 25 Jan PrimeHigh among these was a contract from Philippine’s largest entertainment and broadcasting company ABS-CBN which acquired a package from the Fitness series including Amy Dixon Collection (5x60’) and New Fitness Collection (30x60’). The content will be aired on ABS-CBN’s Lifestyle Network, its women-oriented TV channel which is said to be dedicated to the ‘multi-dimensional interests of the modern woman’.
Portuguese TV network SIC Portugal went for all episodes of Prime’s latest production Ultimate Countdown (16x45’) for its SIC CARAS channel which since 2014 has aired in Angola and Mozambique as well as Portugal. Also at in the entertainment celebrity genre NAPTE, Greece’s Makedonia TV signed for the 91 by 26' episodes of Prime’s Close Up series.
Intended for launch on its recently introduced VOD offer in France and in Africa, Trace TV went for Prime’s Funny and Music shows. The package of 14 hours includes the Funny series Pizza Party (8x52’) and Queens of Comedy (2x52’) and shows such as Kids Concert and Tales from Africa (1x52’) and African Tales for the Young and Old” (1x63’).
Prime also made several packages for USA educational TV with multiple one-off documentaries such as Irezumi, The Japanese Art of Tattooing (1x52’), The other Story of the Forgotten Slaves (1x52) and Nunavik Land of Ice (1x52’). Canadian TV Broadcaster SRBC opted for The Secret Album of Clint Eastwood (1x70’), The True Story of Angelina Jolie (1x52’) and The True Story of Madonna (1x52’).
“NATPE is a great market, it’s a perfect timing to finalise our deals with our clients,” commented Prime Entertainment Group managing director David Freydt. “Miami always gives a nice kick-start for the year.”
