Bruce Tuchman, president of AMC Global and Sundance Channel Global, is leaving the company in April, following MIP TV in Cannes.

The exec has been with the company since 2011, and has been leading the strategic distribution, programming, business development and marketing ends for AMC and Sundance Channel internationally. AMC Networks went international in 2014 in more than 125 countries after MGM’s international channel business rebranded to the network.

"He has been instrumental in developing Sundance Channel into a global brand and successfully transitioning the MGM Channel into AMC Global, positioning the business for future growth," the company said in a statement to media. "We wish him well in his new endeavours."

Instead of filling his position, the company will redirect Ed Palluth, EVP of global distribution, and Harold Gronenthal, EVP of programming and operations, to expand their roles and report directly to AMC Networks COO Ed Carroll.

Before joining AMC Networks, Tuchman was president of MGM Worldwide Networks, and before that general manager of Nickelodeon Global Network Ventures. Prior to Nickelodeon, he was senior counsel for international development at MTV Networks.
