Secuoya reinforces LATAM senior management

Spain's Grupo Secuoya has appointed José Miguel Barrer as head of the international division to strengthen business development, with a special focus on Latin America.



Barrera will manage Secuoya's international actions within the areas of content distribution, acquisition and business development.

Secuoya is one of Spain's fastest growing companies in the broadcasting industry, managing to achieve a solid position in Latin America in just a few years.

The group's strategy for the near future is to strengthen its position in Peru, Colombia, Chile and the US as well as expanding into new territories and partnerships. While growing internationally, Grupo Secuoya has also improved its position in Spain, where it's about to launch its first free-to-air (FTA) DTT network.

The new Secuoya international executive has a long career within the entertainment and TV business, having previously worked as sales director for El Retiro Producciones and as acquisitions director for Grupo Ganga.
