High TV 4K launches channel in India

Ultra HD channel High TV 4K is being introduced in India through a tie-up with distributor Splendid Media.


The ultra HD channel, available across India’s digital TV platforms from early 2016, broadcasts a range of 4K programming from entertainment news and travel shows, to exclusive drama, comedy, fitness and sports content.

“It is indeed a major milestone for us, as an international 4K channel, to be present in India ...We are excited to be bringing the very best in lifestyle and entertainment programming to an audience that embraces entertainment,” said Justin Borrelo, head of business development, High TV 4K.

Introduced to the world in August 2015 by Footprint Media Holdings, High TV 4K is headquartered in New York, with offices in Hong Kong and London.
