TVA commissions the Voice Kids for Canada

French-Canadian broadcaster TVA has become the latest to commission a junior version of Talpa talent format The Voice.



TVA will air a local version of The Voice Kids following a deal with Talpa Global, the distribution arm of the ITV-owned production company.

Having first aired in the Netherlands in 2012, The Voice Kids now has more than 30 local productions. Those include stints on Zee Network in India, Telemundo in the US and ITV in the UK, which is due to begin airing the format next year alongside The Voice, after gaining the rights to the format, beating the BBC.
