Colombia's public telco, Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogotá (ETB), has enabled its pay-TV subscribers to access ESPN Play.

The TV everywhere platform includes live feeds of ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN 3, which will now be available for mobile and connected devices. The service is also to be accessible from ETB Play, the company's own platform which includes third-party players like HBO GO, FOX Play and Win Sports.

To be able to watch ESPN's sports programming, ETB subscribers have to register through a specific site, which will then produce a username and code.

“Through this move, ETB is at the forefront of video-on-demand services in Colombia, offering more and better entertainment options to its customers,” said the telco in a public release.

Indeed, ETB was selected by HBO to start deploying HBO GO as a stand-alone service across Latin America.
