Super Shore makes waves on MTV Play

The premiere of Super Shore has been a major driving force for MTV Play, registering three million streams across Latin America and becoming the most downloaded app in Mexico.



After premiering in Spain, France, Portugal and 25 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, MTV's latest reality series is also reporting strong ratings on linear TV. The series was the No 1 show in its timeslot among all pay-TV channels with core youth demos in Mexico and Spain.

The debut of Gandia Shore's former participants in MTV Super Shore was the most watched Spanish pay-TV show for the 18-35 demographic, becoming the most-watched programme on MTV Spain since the brand's return to pay-TV.

Similarly, Mexican fans responded to the debut of Acapulco Shore's participants. The MTV Super Shore premiere ranked No 1 in its timeslot among all pay-TV channels in Mexico among the 12-24 and 18-24 demographics.

MTV Super Shore is the fifth international edition of the franchise. The reality show is also the first collaboration between MTV teams across southern Europe and Latin America. It was produced by Magnolia TV.
