Wazee Digital announces new West Euro VP of sales & business development

Wazee Digital, has recruited Sally Wallington as its new VP of sales & business development for the UK and Western Europe.



Reporting to Wazee Digital SVP of global sales Dave Polyard, the former Grass Valley regional director for Northern Europe will be responsible for bringing the title management, metadata management and monetisation services provider’s portfolio of content management tools to content owners across the region.

Prior to Grass Valley Wallington was regional director, UK, Ireland and South Africa at Harris Broadcast as well as its director of professional services and support, EMEA. She has also held various broadcast-related roles at Channel Ten Television, Australia, as well as Channel 4 and Flextech in the UK.

Wallington said: “The management and cataloguing of content is so important to content owners for them to make money in today’s ever-changing media landscape. I look forward to bringing Wazee Digital’s portfolio of cloud-based content management products to European broadcasters, sports rights holders and production companies.”
