PokerStars to launch online TV channel in Brazil

Online gaming platform PokerStars is to expand its online, Twitch-based TV channel with Brazilian-targeted live programming.



poker online tvWith Brazil being the sixth largest audience for PokerStars' main English-language site, which is reported to have over 100 million unique viewers per month, the company has decided to launch a different platform with purely Portuguese-language content. The service will soon be streamed through a Twitch.tv channel.

The online channel's programming will be based on various poker players, including PokerStars' Brazilian ambassadors Caio Pessagno, Felipe Mojave and Andre Akkari, commenting on games and training.
