TalkTalk TV offers E! for free

Aiming to tap into expected demand for the Oscars, UK IPTV provider TalkTalk TV is making showbiz and entertainment channel E! available at no extra cost.



The 88th Academy Awards ceremony will be available on Sky Movies Oscars channel, usually on offer in the Sky Movies Boost, which is usually priced at £15 a month, but TalkTalk has reduced it to £5 a month. The background to the event will be screened on Sky Living at 10pm on 29 February. Sky Living comes as standard in TalkTalk’s Plus TV package and can be added as part of TalkTalk’s Entertainment Boost, which also includes channels such as Comedy Central and Fox.

TalkTalk has also created an ‘Award Season’ collection of award-winning and nominated films to rent and own. Titles include The Martian, Inside Out and Mad Max: Fury Road, alongside previous winners Dallas Buyers Club, 12 Years a Slave and The Imitation Game. Viewers can find the Award Season collection in the newly launched TalkTalk TV Store or within the rent and own section of the TalkTalk TV Player.
