The Polish DTH platform nc+ now has over 140,000 subscribers signed up to its nc+ Go service.

Speaking to Wirtualne Media, Jacek Balicki, VP marketing at nc+, said that the company was very pleased with the take of nc+ Go, which was first trialled last autumn and made its full debut on January 11.

The service currently allows viewers to watch around 80 channels over the internet and has catch-up and other on demand features.

Balicki added that most content on it is viewed on a streamed rather than catch-up basis.

nc+ Go is being offered for no additional charge to nc+ customers up until the end of this month, after which they will be offered a fixed number of hours, depending on the package they receive, per month for no additional charge.

The limits have been introduced to avoid high data transfer costs, both to nc+ and its customers.
