Boomerang TV's adaptation of Kitchen Nightmares (Pesadilla en la Cocina) is set to air on Chilevision's Sunday prime time slot.



pesadilla en la cocinaThe show will air on Chilevision following the free-to-air broadcast of the Viña del Mar festival this Sunday (28 February).

Produced by Boomerang's Chilean subsidiary BCL Producciones, each of the show’s 12 episodes will see presenter chef Gustavo Maurelli visit a failing restaurant in an attempt to revamp it.

Pesadilla en la Cocina is the first Latin American adaptation of UK's original Kitchen Nightmares, produced by Optomen for Channel 4 back in 2004. Since then, the format has aired in over 25 countries, including Spain, the US, the Nordics and France.

The series Boomerang's second cooking reality production in Chile, following the adaptation of Top Chef for the public broadcaster TVN.
