The FTC has approved Sinclair Broadcast Group's $350 million purchase of the Tennis Channel.

Sinclair came to the agreement last month to buy the cable network from its owners, a mix of private-equity firms and smaller stakeholders DirecTV and DISH Network.

The FTC gave the deal early termination of its antitrust review. Sinclair will get the channel along with its over-the-top (OTT) services, TC Plus and its TV everywhere service, and said that it expects to benefit from more than $200 million of net operating loss carry-forwards.

The merger does not involve the transfer of FCC licences, so that regulator’s approval wasn’t required for the deal to go through.
