VSN integrates MAM into Microsoft Azure

Spanish broadcasting solutions provider, VSN, has integrated its media management suite, VSNExplorer, into Microsoft's Azure Media Services.
azure vsnThe cloud-based media assets management (MAM) solution will be officially unveiled during the upcoming NAB Show 2016, to be held April in Las Vegas.
VSNExplorer is now able to work as a video-on-demand (VOD) and live streaming platform without bandwidth constraints thanks to the integration with Azure's content delivery network (CDN).
In addition, the MAM suite incorporates MPEG-DASH support, multi-device and DRM management, protection and encryption provided by AES, PlayReady, Widevine and fairPlay.

VSN will be able to deliver other new features thanks to the Azure integration, such as speech-to-text processes in multiple languages, automatic adult content detection, advanced cloud transcoding in multiple formats, face blurring in videos and automatic detection of content.
