US video streaming giant Netflix has added Arabic support for iOS to enable Arabic speaking customers to use the service more easily on their iPads and iPhones.
The video-on-demand (VOD) service launched across the Middle East as part of a global push in January 2016.
There are now 21 languages available on the Netflix User Interface (UI), with decisions about additional languages to be made once the company gathers more feedback and understands usage patterns better.
In terms of content, Arabic – along with Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese – has already been added to the 17 languages Netflix previously offered for its digital film and TV service.
