Zee Digital’s over-the-top (OTT) platform dittoTV is launching an online series called Strugglers on 22 March aimed at a young audience.

Centring on four young boys, the drama explores their shared dream to make it big in Bollywood, embarking on the production of a porn movie to gain recognition.

This kick-starts a great misadventure taking them on a roller-coaster ride of sleepless nights, hilarious happenings, devastating heartbreaks and self-liberation, the company claims.

“The plot of the series is extremely funny and positive. This is a highly entertaining and youth centric offering and we are hoping to get the audience hooked to dittoTV via a continuous stream of such interesting and engaging series,” said Archana Anand, business head, dittoTV.

Produced by RPG Group, the ten-part original series will launch simultaneously on ditto TV and YouTube. Other channels under Zee Digital’s umbrella may carry Strugglers at a later date.

Zee’s OTT platform is focused on international markets across the US, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Asia Pacific and parts of Africa.
