4K 4Charity Fun Run expands sponsor roster

As the start comes closer, the 4K 4Charity Fun Run at the NAB Show in Las Vegas has attracted new sponsorship from leaders in the video-on-demand (VOD), CE and TV everywhere industries.
Kfun run RTVN 30 March 2016Taking place on Tuesday 19 April 2016 and organised by Elemental Technologies, the 4K 4Charity Fun Run is open to all NAB Show registrants and is designed to commemorate advancements in video technology by global media and entertainment industry leaders as well as the technology vendors that support them. All proceeds raised by the event will be donated to global charity Mercy Corps, an international development organisation that helps people around the world survive and thrive after conflict, crisis and natural disaster, as well as Las Vegas-based charity The Shade Tree, a shelter for women, children and pets that are victims of domestic abuse.
The new sponsors are Comcast, Dolby, IneoQuest Technologies, Sony Electronics and Xstream. These join Aspera, an IBM Company, Brightcove, Elemental, the National Association of Broadcasters, NewBay Media, Verimatrix and Rapid TV News in supporting the run.
