Bloomberg Television launches on TVPlayer streaming service in UK

Leading international business and financial news channel, Bloomberg Television has launched in the UK on the TVPlayer consumer streaming platform.
Bloomberg 12 April 2016Bloomberg Television reaches more than 360 million households worldwide and now joins 63 free-to-view channels on a service available within a single multiscreen app optimised for every platform and device.
TVPlayer currently claims more than 600,000 unique viewers per week and its new channel will offer up-to-the-minute, market-moving international business and financial news and analysis through a live and catch-up service, across desktop, mobile, tablet and connected TV apps, including Amazon Fire TV and Stick.

For its part, TVPlayer said the new partnership highlighted the increasing importance of aggregator platforms that offer a more flexible, and mobile TV experience, and reduce fragmentation, at a time when consumers are looking for alternatives to traditional pay-TV services.
