UPC Polska has acquired the Gdansk-based operator Net-Sat Media for an undisclosed fee.

Net-Sat Media was established in 2000 and has been offering digital TV services since 2011.

UPC Polska is the largest cable operator in Poland, it services reaching over 2.9 million households in over 150 locations throughout the country.

It launched services in five new places locations – Plock, Rzeszów, Tarnów, Nowy Sacz and Glogów – in 2015 and thanks to continued investment its reach was six times greater than in previous years.

UPC Polska also acquired a number of smaller operators in 2015.
