As compliance with the online video giant becomes a more important issue, SERAPHIC has passed the pre-integration of YouTube TV 2016, which includes all conformance and performance tests.
Seraphic 24 April 2016The company’s Sraf HTML5 browser, based on the Blink engine, has been found to match all the required performance and memory usage requirements of the challenging YouTube 2016 pre-certification. The browser is designed to enable TV apps to reduce the initial launch time to 13 seconds, two seconds quicker than YouTube 2016 requires. It is also said to improve browser-to-watch time to 2.8 seconds, with the full animation enabled.
The company asserts that it acquired its performance level from its deep knowhow on browser optimisation for TV and set-top boxes especially from the perspectives of memory usage reduction and profound performance tuning. It works closely with chipset vendors and makes deep integration in order to maximise the chipset hardware potential and adds that will enable chipset vendors and TV and set-top box manufacturers to pass through the certification at an early stage. This, it says, will accelerate time-to-market of their end-consumer products, providing a solid time-to-market advantage over the competition.
