Video-on-demand (VOD) service ICFLIX is spreading its reach across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) after being added to the apps pre-loaded on Hisense smart TVs in the region.

“Hisense is now the third largest TV brand in the world. This partnership will allow us to present consumers the convenience, being able to watch the best of Hollywood, Jazwood (Arabic) and Bollywood content seamlessly. Whether it’s movies, TV series, documentaries or kids animation, ICFLIX has something for everyone,” said Carlos Tibi, founder and CEO, ICFLIX.

The ICFLIX VOD app will come pre-installed on all high-end Hisense TV’s and will include a three-month free subscription for customers signing up for a premium account.

Subscribers then need to be connected to the Internet via their Hisense smart TV and log-in to stream video from ICFLIX’ content library.

Hursh Agrawal, general manager of TVs at Hisense said the cooperation will take customers to next level of entertainment and provide a “win-win solution” for both companies.
