WeTek to offer ICFLIX across MENA region

Middle East and North Africa’s online video service ICFLIX has closed a deal whereby it will be pre-installed into Android-based WeTek media player boxes.



icflix 30 May 2016 The two companies say the partnership is a result of two similar strategies based on improving customer TV experience, without having the need for a smart TV. As well as the pre-installation, the ICFLIX app will include a gift voucher with one-year’s free subscription to a library containing content such as Hollywood films, TV series, cartoons and documentaries. It is currently available on over 12,000 different mobile and fixed Internet-enabled devices including PCs, Macs, smart phones, tablets, smart TVs and gaming consoles.

The monthly subscription for unlimited access to ICFLIX via WeTek boxes is priced at $7.99 a month. Each ICFLIX subscription allows users to access the service on five Internet-enabled devices.
