Telefónica to support Seville 4K Summit

The second edition of the Sevilla 4K-UHD Summit will be supported by Telefónica’s pay-tv channel Movistar+, which will use the event to present its Ultra HD plans for the future, both as broadcaster and content producer.

4k sevillaThe telco and Medina Media, the summit’s organiser, will reveal more details in the coming weeks to confirm Movistar+’s involvement during the event.

The summit will take place on 10-11 November, following a successful first year which saw over 100 broadcasting experts from 20 different countries attend the event.

During the 2015 event, RTVE, SES Astra, Hispasat, Cellnex, RTVA, SGO, Samsung, Canon, Sony, Dolby, Avid, EVS, FilmLight, Eutelsat or Grass Valley, among others, helped put the city on the world Ultra HD map.
