Elemental opens IBC 4K 4Chairty Fun Run registration

Registration is now open for the now traditional Elemental 4K 4Chairty Fun Run at IBC which will take place at 7:30 am on Saturday 10 September 2016.

elemental 28 JUne 2016Organised by Elemental Technologies, the 4K 4Charity Fun Run is designed to raise money for great causes while commemorating advancements in video technology by global media and entertainment industry leaders as well as the technology vendors that support them.

Registrations have doubled for each event in this series, and total gross donations now top $250,000. Among the sponsors for the 4K 4Charity Fun Run at IBC 2016 are industry leaders Aspera (an IBM Company), Verimatrix, Dolby, ChyronHego and Xstream, and media partners NewBay Media Europe and Rapid TV News. The deadline for sponsorship commitments is 30 June 2016.

All proceeds from 4K 4Charity Fun Run registrations will be donated to two worthy charities: Heifer International, a global charitable organization that helps bring sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty, and Jeugdsportfonds, a local Amsterdam charity that offers sports opportunities to children aged 4-18 years whose families do not have the financial resources to pay for an athletics club membership.
