ITV Choice selects EBS for Africa, Asia EPG data listings

ITV Choice has chosen EBS to provide EPG data listings to broadcast platforms in Africa and Asia, where the British entertainment and documentary channel reaches more than 100 countries.
KeithBedford MD EBSEBS provides an integrated data workflow and then restructures it for individual platforms using its software Pawa, which works across platforms and territories. The data workflow provides the channel with a write-once-publish-many capability.
“Whether content is discovered via a recommendation engine, onscreen guide or simple search, quality programme information is crucial. ITV Choice is a major addition to the television schedule in Asia, Africa and the Middle East and we’re very pleased to have been selected to provide multi-platform, EPG data services,” said Keith Bedford, managing director, EBS.
