Help please to upgrade

I made a back up of STB SRX6200
hardware version 5119
software module VG
software version 2.2.84

when i tried to upgrade from satdw the loader says
Ident check failed
What could be the problem please advice
The software is named as for hardware 5119
Loader version 3.1.05

This loader & file is the same I used before & I tried again
Message received on loader as "Ident check failed".
Whats the reason! Any clue.
