AT&T plans uninterrupted National Convention coverage

With the 2016 presidential election underway, comms giant AT&T will offer customers gavel-to-gavel TV coverage of the conventions.
hillary trumpThe Republication National Convention will be shown live from Cleveland (18-21 July) and the Democratic National Convention will be live from Philadelphia (25-28 July). DIRECTV and U-verse customers will be able to tune in with no commercials or interruptions. And viewers will have access to convention coverage unedited and free of commentary.
“2016 will be one of the most talked about elections in our nation’s history. We’re proud to offer this service, so our customers can see convention coverage uninterrupted,” said Dan York, chief content officer for AT&T. “Watching these events unfold unedited and without commentary provides a unique perspective.”
AT&T is the official provider of communications, video and technology for both events.
