I'm brand new. This seems like a nice forum. I've been looking for a forum I can feel comfortable asking newbie questions to get started. I'm sure you can remember when you first got started and didnt have a clue. :)
Anyway, I'm hoping I might get a couple of friendly people to mentor me; teaching me the basics to get started in what I want to accomplish. I posted in the below thread. Hopefully, I can get a couple of very knowledgable people to help figure out the best solution for me. Of course, when I learn, I can return the favor and help out other people in need of help.

hey all just new to the forum could someone please give me some direction as to where to get info in english on a Fortec star lifetime ultra? i just picked one up at a yardsale and have been trying to find files to be able to watch tv!!!
