ThinkAnalytics today announced strong FY2016 results on the back of continued global expansion across North and South America, Europe and Asia. Results for the financial year ending 30 June 2016 reveal turnover up 25% and profits up 45% year-on-year. The company now has over 200 million subscribers under contract.
Highlights in Europe include the pan-European extension of the firm's long-standing partnership with Sky UK to include their new Sky Q platform and NowTV. Further afield ThinkAnalytics has signed a number of new customers in Asia including Star India and Astro - together encompassing substantial subscriber growth.
ThinkAnalytics' product development activity also showed no sign of slowing down during the year. The ThinkBigData platform, which was announced at CES 2016, is already operational in a number of clients and feedback is very positive. This takes the firm's Search and Recommendations Engine technology into the field of actionable data, giving customers further tools to drive their business with increased viewership and loyalty.
Eddie Young, Chairman, ThinkAnalytics, said:
Our continued strong momentum comes from securing strategic contract extensions with current customers, as well as further expansion throughout the regions from our local offices in the UK, Los Angeles, Pune and Singapore. As a result, we now have over 200 million subscribers under contract - by far the largest in the industry. Also important is our constant focus on new product development. Our team includes some of the brightest minds in the industry whose task it is to push the search and recommendations boundaries and deliver unrivalled technologies to our customers to help them achieve their business goals.
