Joker Cam

I have a Joker Cam that was working fine in my Clarke Tech receiver. I removed it and fitted the cam in my Nokia 8600 receiver, but the Nokia did not recognise that a cam had been installed.

I then put the cam back in the Clarke Tech but the receiver did not recognise the cam. Consequently as the receiver has not recognised the cam I cannot load any software.

Could the Nokia have wiped the cam memory clean?

It 's the same thing on nokia9800.
Some time, it's ok on some 9800, some time, joker cam don't work.
I think, joker cam is not compatible with nokia. It's not firmware in cause.
You must to use xcam or ice crypt...
Compatible cam with nokia is Aston, xcam,Matrix ( with hardware modification 'cause VCC is on allwayson some lines) .
For this end, you must to connect after reboot.

Hi dave the inside of Nokia must be transformed by bringing power directlly to the cam slot(5 volt),because the power supply connected to this slot in not enough for joker.I use joker with my nokia 9800s without problem.without this transformation joker is recognised in some nokia and not in the other.

bring 5 volt betwen pin 1 and 17 of slot with a simple diode ,put 2 capacitors 100microF and 100nF betwen this pins.
