Big switch to Astra 1L tonight,Astra 2C will be at 28.2 east very soon scan 10950 to 11200 GHz to find the new Astra 2C transponders currently this is a blank space in the Ku spectrum at 28.2 east,
Astra 2C has full back up for the 10700 to 11200GHz & 11700 to 12200GHz it is quite possible that this satellite also has narrow footprint transponders to back up Astra2D we do not know all details of a satellite as not everything is made public,
AtlanticBird-2 @ 8 west has transponders capable of Ku transponder's work in the Ku spectrum below 10950 GHz & you will not read that in the satellite specification
