Grupo Salinas bets on Steinbranding to revamp Azteca 7

Buenos Aires-based design agency Steinbranding has been chosen to refresh the on-air branding of Mexican free-to-air (FTA) channel Azteca 7.

With the channel recently revamping its line-up, incorporating more live shows, Steinbranding has been asked to reflect Azteca 7’s spirit in a new design, targeting a younger audience. The agency recently carried out similar projects for other TV networks including Zee Mundo, ahead of it entering the Hispanic market.

“We are proud to be chosen again by Grupo Salinas. The line-up’s revamping is also shown in the new branding image. Besides, we have updated graphics for the promotional blocks and some of the shows,” explained Guillermo Stein, CEO, Steinbranding.

“All these changes have been developed by Steinbranding along with our in-house design team, raising the level of the on-air image. This helps us to reach our goal of appealing to the new Mexican family,” said César Bailón, visual arts director,*TV Azteca.
