Digicel is giving its customers the opportunity to attend the official Caribbean premiere of the movie I Am Bolt.
The series of premieres kicked off in Jamaica yesterday (6 December) at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston, where Usain Bolt was in attendance along with his family.
Other screenings will follow in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, French West Indies, Montserrat, St Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago between 6-9 December.
“We chose Usain as our chief speed officer*because of his love for speed and his winning personality - all of which come to the fore in the movie. We are very happy for Usain and his achievements, and we are excited about working with him again to deliver even more exclusive content and experiences to our customers,” said Peter Lloyd, group director of marketing for Digicel.
As presenting partner of the premiere in the Caribbean, Digicel*is giving customers tickets through a number of activities including invitations and online competitions across Digicel’s social media platforms. In addition, customers have exclusive access to a host of other content from the movie, including clips and behind-the-scenes footage.
“This project is very special to me because I get to show the world more of who I am and what I’ve had to go through to get to where I am today – it hasn’t been an easy journey but that’s what makes winning so much more meaningful for me,” added Usain Bolt.
